March was a truly special month at Orion Academy as we came together to celebrate 25 incredible years of learning, growth, and community.
Our anniversary event, thoughtfully planned by our dedicated Anniversary Party Committee—board members Jennifer Crossland and Nancy Wallace, alumni parent Maritza Ruiz-Kim, and parents Kelley Callahan and Roslyn Cole—was nothing short of magical.
With a sold-out crowd of 100 guests, the evening was filled with heartfelt reunions, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the legacy we’ve built together. While we raised over $11,000 to support our school, the true success of the night was the presence of alumni, former faculty, and longtime supporters who traveled to be part of this milestone. We were especially moved by the inspiring words of alumni speaker Zackary Smith (‘11) and Dr. Andrew Schlegelmilch, our former head psychologist, whose reflections reminded us of the lasting impact of Orion.
The PTO’s stunning 25th Anniversary signed picture and the Board of Trustees’ beautiful glass plaque, both now proudly displayed in my office, serve as tangible reminders of this community’s unwavering support and dedication.
This celebration exceeded all my expectations—it was a night of gratitude, pride, and a renewed commitment to our mission. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you.
