How to Request an Application PackageThank you for your interest in the Orion Academy. If you would like an application please e-mail the and the packet can be e-mailed to you as an attachment or call (925) 377-0789 for a packet to be sent by US mail.
When you receive the e-mailed information, please print it out and fill in all the requested information, adding the necessary materials and mail to:

Include the $100.00 non-refundable application fee with the application. Please do not return the application via e-mail, use the address above.
When to Apply
Although we can accept application for openings all year, the normal application process for a next year enrollment is as follows:
- Complete the application and gather materials, include the application fee and mail to Orion by January 30th
- Review of application will occur in the order received and interviews will be scheduled in February.
- Freshmen applicants will have an initial interview with Dr. Stewart and another staff person. Students who seem appropriate for the school will be invited for a second interview as part of a group with other potential classmates after school the week of March 1st. This group interview will last approximately 2 hours and includes some academic screening and social interaction time.
- Applicants for openings in 10-12th grade classes will have an initial interview with Dr. Stewart and if selected will be invited to visit school for 2 half days, allowing for a chance to see how well the “fit” appears.
- Final acceptance decision will be made by mid-March, and letters will be sent.
- $2,000.00 deposit on tuition will be due by April 2nd– refundable until May 1st.
